I have been to Turkey 4 times, the first 3 times I visited Istanbul, Antalya and Izmir. My husband and I decided that the next time we should visit the East of Turkey. We came on a 2 week trip in the summer and visited many cities in the East. Adana, Gaviantep, Urfa, Diyarbakir, Mardin, Batman and Van!! Diyarbakir was our favourite city!! Wow! We were so surprised at how friendly people were! Many people told us to avoid the city but we are so glad we didn't listen. Diyarbakir is like a hidden Gem and I am very happy to read your stories and see the beautiful pictures :)
Thanks
